The G1 CD images are in their final stages. Unfortunately with the problematical apt. The problems are; 1. Locking up on certain hardware. 2. Not mounting/unmounting the cdrom.
The boot-floppies side of the cdrom images build has collapsed and I need to spend some time working on this, so I cannot pick up the apt problems myself. So could someone look at this please? With a fully functional apt the CD set would be by far the best so far. There are three images, the third is almost full. It has a home made tarball (baseHurd.tgz) which is built from the identical archive that is used to build the CDs, so it is right up to date. The testing has gone very well. While the file trees for the source images are in place I am not planning to do anything about these as there are six images involved and I have my doubts about their usefulness.
