Hi, a new tar file is available for non-CD installations.
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/hurd/contrib/marcus/gnu-20011016.tar.gz It features the new booting method (sans serverboot), and various bug fixes including a non-crashing pfinet for ssh, ncftp and other programs. The included hurd package is 20011016-1, and is already uploaded, but not in the distribution yet. Find it at http://incoming.debian.org until tomorrow, and then at the regular place.
