Sure, but I think that energy should not only put into collecting the bits and pieces, but also to work it over and fill in the gaps. What needs most work currently is the hurd info manual, where most of the content should be anyway. Also, bits and pieces floating around often age rapidly. There are usually two problems: Collections need to be maintained. Collections are often quite random, and don't give the right impression of individual points priority. What is also important (and I consider it to be more important than collecting what already exists), is to write reliable and complete documentation of the things in the system that are stable.
