Why not include your libc and hurd packages so people can experiment. Put
up a README making sure people know what they are getting into. But some
people might want to give a try to doing a fresh libio install tree with
dpkg --root (or whatever the switch is). In fact, it would be nice if
someone automated the procedure of populating a fresh directory tree from a
collection of .deb's with dpkg --root and then making that into an
installation tarball. I imagine there is some debian procedure for making
the "base" tarballs that could be applied.
