maybe multiboot uncompliant bootloaders.. is it pointful to have them?

besides a cdrom can be set to reproduce music without kernel intervention,
either directly (headphones) or through the sound card (internal analog cable)
thus CD playing software shouldn't be banned (assuming they can start it to
play)
