In case the size is really a problem, note that you can always refine the script used to generate the "debian-superseded" contents. Attila just puts *all* outdated files there (because his CDs actually use most files, and because it's easy to code). However, nothing prevents you from writing a script which only puts those files into the superseded dir which are actually referenced by the template file.
