Hi, Wouldn't it be nice if the MX for lists.debian.org would at least block open relays and proxies? I'm getting a lot of spam through the various debian list. Blocking open relays and proxies is no political issue, like eg. spamcop.
The sender of this SPAM message, 64.109.69.2 is indeed listed in relays.osirusoft.com. Having used that (safe, IMHO) list would have prevented it from going to all subscribers of (at least) debian-hurd. In short, I really think that in addition to employing spamassassin, which lists.debian.org already does, an open relay/proxy blacklist of good reputation should be used.
