alpha.gnu.org has been compromised. random.tar.gz is security sensitive, and I haven't had time to compare the code of the copy we have (which was on alpha) with the one I have locally here. I hope to provide an official random translator in the Hurd source within the next weeks, with the move to oskit-mach (but console must come first). Thanks, Marcus
