Hi, I just created a J1 CD and installed the Hurd. Then I added an entry in my grub menu file and tried to boot.
After the hardware recognition part the system hangs when trying to start the ext2fs file system. The last part of the text I see is: 2 multiboot modules task loaded: (the task of the first module line) task loaded: /lib/ld.so.1 /hurd/exec start /hurd/ext2fs.static: And then the system stop. I cannot type chars on the screen and I am forced to press the hardware reset button. The hardware is an ASUS A1 laptop on which the H1 images are working correctly (with the apt-get bug). How may I try to help to solve this problem? Giuseppe
