login user screen xinit /bin/wmaker => it works! (because of a bug, I was told, but it works for the moment ;-) ) (perhaps I have defined LD_LIBRARY_PATH somewhere in my conffiles) > and I don't want to search in archives. Ouch. > PS2 : If someone want a modified gnumach for use with french keyboard, > i can send a patch (symbol in the file i386/i386at/kd.c), I know that > it's an awful hack but actually preferable. If you come on #hurdfr on irc.openprojects.net, you may find gentle french hurd users, who can give you three files: - a .c, that is able to change the meaning of a key; - a file with associations of physical keys to more convenient symbols; - a perl script that calls the compiled .c for each key of the second file. This is easier than patching+compiling gnumach. Bonne chance, Snark on #hurd, #hurdfr
