AFAIK, libgcc1 and libstdc++5 are from gcc-3.3, while the rest is from gcc-3.2. libstdc++5 depends on gcc-3.3-base: Package: libstdc++5 Version: 1:3.3-0pre7 Depends: gcc-3.3-base, libc6 (>= 2.3.1-1), libgcc1 (>= 1:3.3-0pre5) But this gcc-3.3-base package does not contain any files besides documentation, AFAICT Michael
