Thanks for the corrections. When I wrote that I was thinking that when I first started playing with Debian I read on the Debian web site that the Hurd was another Debian project. After getting your email, and doing a bit more research, I don't see any obvious claims on the web site that the Hurd is a Debian project as such. I appreciate you steering me into a more precise history, and hope I've done a better job. I made major changes to the section entitled "A Brief History of Operating Systems" and some minor changes to the first couple of paragraphs of the section entitled "Getting to the Hurd".


Let me know if further corrections need to be made.
