hi, why was um-pppd removed from the archive? we should have a working PPP implementation for GNU at some point; if it's currently buggy and doesn't work it should be kept untill someone fixes it. removing a package means we have no interest on it, which isn't true for um-pppd. see http://bugs.debian.org/115560 -- Robert Millan
