Maybe "login and get stoned"? Or "2 GB should be enough for anybody"? Ok, seriously, here is my preferred description of the essence of the Hurd: "The GNU Hurd - giving freedom to users!" As this applies to both the technological and non-technological aspects of the Hurd, I find this very nice. I also came up with "it lacks TCPA drivers", which is slighly self-ironic (bad driver support) and indicates that we consider freedom to be highly important (anti-TCPA). Cheers, GNU/Wolfgang -- "A good programming language should have features that make the kind of people who use the phrase `software engineering' shake their heads disapprovingly." -- Paul Graham
