"Checking the source for GNU Mach to get a idea" means in other words: noone has made a list.
Bollock, check the README file (a file that one is supposed to read before doing anything). It talks about where one can find a nice little list of drivers that are supposed to be supported by GNU Mach 1.x atleast. For the lazy it is in i386/README-drivers. A newby won't get a snapshot or check out code from CVS and dig for half a day for the drivers of her devices. Newbies should read the README... And it is all there, outdated maybe, but it is there and includes the drivers that _should_ work with GNU Mach 1.x. If they don't, then that is a bug.
