Crosshurd appears to be an excellent system, but every time I try to install it, native-install reaches the step "configuring debian packages" and stops. Is there an way of finding the specific error?
Also, I am not sure why it is better to put the MACH boot directives in menu.lst rather than in servers.boot. The former approach may cause errors if a new disribution needs different directives, since menu.lst is not in the installed distribution and has to be edited by hand. The older approach kept the menu.lst section for hurd much simpler and less likely to be in error. Regards, Dan Woodard
