Who told you that? You can't make libsem-dev build-essential for us (without consultation) and then just drop like a hot potato once your currently favoured port doesn't need it anymore. Orphan it if you want, but a request for removal goes too far right now. We'll get it removed once we are certain we don't need it anymore.
