If you don't want to wait, this seems to work : * Add ncurses-base=5.4-4 to /etc/crosshurd/packages/gnu * Add the following source to /etc/crosshurd/sources.list/gnu : deb http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/2005/05/28/debian unstable main If you experience a Perl problem too, just add perl-modules=5.8.7-3 to /etc/crosshurd/packages/gnu - but I don't think it's needed any more.
