Hello, with the recent upload of xorg-x11_6.9.0-5, the last critical bug for X.org on the Hurd should have been fixed, many thanks again to Samuel Thibault for all the work.
Please test X.org in Debian unstable and report and problems. Known issues: - Due to no mouse detection, the debconf scripts might fail and you might need to manually generate /etc/X11/xorg.conf (possibly adapting your GNU/Linux configuration file, should you have one). - You probably need to run dpkg-reconfigure xserver-common and set let anybody start the X server, we have no support for figuring out console users yet. If the first issue is now fixed, please report that. If anybody wants to work on those issues, that would be great. cheers, Michael -- Michael Banck Debian Developer [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.advogato.org/person/mbanck/diary.html -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
