Using grub to boot:

grub> find /boot/gnumach.gz
        returns (hd0,3)

Based on the above I believe the root partition for the Hurd is: hd0s4
Is that correct?

grub> kernel (hd0,3)/boot/gnumach.gz root=device:hd0s4 -s

Later in the boot process I get the following error:

start (hd0,3)/hurd/ext2fs.static: (hd0,3)/hurd/ext2fs.static:
device:hd0s4: No such device or address

If the root partition is correct is it possible that I am having
a SATA problem?
