Status: Open Priority: 3 Submitted By: Marc Dequènes (duck) Assigned to: Nobody (None) Summary: mkfs does not create filesystems with proper creator-os Category: None Group: None Resolution: None Initial Comment: After a successful mkfs.ext2 /dev/hd1s: Earendil:~# mount /data ext2fs: /dev/hd1s1: panic: get_hypermetadata: inode size 256 isn't supported mount: cannot start translator /hurd/ext2fs: Translator died I had to recreate it using -o hurd to get it working.
