>Status: Closed Priority: 3 Submitted By: Thomas Schwinge (tschwinge-guest) Assigned to: Nobody (None) Summary: emacs misbehaving in server-mode Category: None Group: None >Resolution: Works For Me Initial Comment: This used to work correctly with the emacs21 packages, but shows the described symptoms with emacs22: Run ``emacs -q RET'', then ``M-x server-start RET''. Switch to another window and run ``emacsclient file RET'', notice ``Waiting for Emacs...''. Switch back to Emacs, type ``C-x #'', the buffer is closed as expected. However: `emacsclient' does not terminate, but is still waiting, while displaying ``Waiting for Emacs...''. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Thomas Schwinge (tschwinge-guest) Date: 2009-05-23 21:52 Message: This is not a problem anymore with the current packages. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://alioth.debian.org/tracker/?func=detail&atid=411594&aid=304807&group_id=30628 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
