Please forgive me if I am out of place. It should be like any other Debian
install to configure (open grub file in an editor using sudo example: sudo
gedit /ect/boot/menu.lst (I think that is the path I am not on my computer
so you need to check)); but you have me thinking that you have done the
CROSS-OVER and are expecting to see a new bootable system this is not the
case GNU HURD simply reconfigures Debian. At least that is how I understand
it. Again I am sorry if I have miss understood what you are trying to do.

  you could please give me instructions on how to install and configure GRUB
to Debian GNU HURD? 
I have the time of partition and installed the base system 
and that I need to continue with the installation of Debian GNU / HURD
