Thanks for doing this - it always helps to have new Qemu images.

I ran it with the latest Qemu from git using this command:

qemu -drive file=debian-hurd-03102010-qemu.img,index=0,media=disk,cache=unsafe -boot c -enable-kvm -net nic,model=rtl8139 -net user

It booted fine, but 'apt-get update; apt-get upgrade' hit the 'hd0: write_intr' bug. Sorry.
