I certainly can understand this. I'm *retired* and I'm so busy (I'm fortunate in having a lot of interests) that I can't understand how I found time for a full-time job. As I said earlier, I do think that what you are trying to do on this project makes a lot of sense architecturally (I'm familiar with Tanenbaum's work and with Minix), and so I will try to help as my time permits.
