It still fails to build, and that can be reproduced on box exodar and darnassus: it hangs right after CXXLD libtest/libtest.la and pressing ^C gives ./pthread/pt-internal.h:122: __pthread_enqueue: Assertion `thread->prevp == 0' failed.
