(non-subscriber; please keep me in CC when replying) Greetings, As support for i386 on Linux will only be partial starting with Trixie (no new Linux kernel - will need to track Bookworm kernels), I was thinking of configuring my last 32-bit desktop as a dual-boot Hurd/Linux host.
I wanted to know if there's any specific things I need to keep in mind when partitioning the drive for this to succeed? Also, is there any way to avoid ending up with 2 instances of GRUB on the same drive? For stability reasons, I'd rather track the Linux port of GRUB but would need the Hurd to appear in the menu as well. Thanks! Martin-Éric
