Sure enough, after a few reboots, the system has now reached the point where it has lost both /var and /dev. Meanwhile /lost+found has enough content to keep a forensic specialist busy for the next few years. I thus have to re-iterate my previous questions: Is there a limit on the drive size that Hurd can handle? On the partition size? On the swap partition size specifically? Martin-Éric
