The 1.2.5-1 version of the poedit package I maintain has an important bug which messes up comments.
"#. xxxxx" is silently replaced by "# xxx" in all comments. This bug has been forwarded upstream. As such comments have a special meaning for po-debconf, for instance, I strongly recommend translators to NOT use poedit 1.2.5-1 for translations. I have put the former 1.2.4-2 version available at http://www.perrier.eu.org:/debian/packages It does not have this bug --
