I should add that Fabio Tranchitella is the first author of the podebconf-report-po utility which is now more and more used by package maintainers to warn translators about needed updates *before* uploading packages. This utility was added by Denis Barbier to the po-debconf package several months ago now and I personnally see this as one of the best small improvements we made recently.
