Ah....Is that a common practice among Indic languages? It doesn't seem
to be common for other non Latin languages (CJK, for instance), but I
understand that methods can be different from one language family to
another.

well, i dont know.
but it seems logical and that is how i do it.
that way people who dont even know the alphabets in english too can
still use it.
