As you'll notice there are a few more issues that I consider worth
fixing wrt QA (lintian warnings). Dropping the debconf note is IMHO a
good idea, I find it pretty useless and not compliant with the spirit
of debconf.
Of course, your mileage may vary and you're the maintainer..:-)
In case a sponsored upload is needed, just tell me so.
Also, please note that, by experience, a few translations may come in
when I post such intents to NMU, so you might want to wait for a few
days before uploading.
Another possibility: ; I send a formal call for translation updates
just as I would have done if I was NMUing the package, then I send you
a diff, you prepare the upload and either you have it sponsored by
your regular sponsor, or I sponsor it.
