This would work only for those messages, which are meant for the
robot only. E.g. ITT & RFR mails still would need to go via the
ordinary lists (or do you expect translators to send mails to two
lists, one for the status and one for the content?).

The closed ones are indeed rather useless, as nobody needs to act on
them, contrary to the ITT/RFR ones.
