Joey Hess recently committed a few important changes to Debian Installer strings, related to new features he introduced:
- support for loading additionnal drivers from any removable media, not only floppies. The code was already in place and he "just" adapted the prompt wording to not just mention "load from floppy" - support for loading firmware for some hardware from removable media This is an important feature to support those weird but common hardware pieces such as wireless cards, that need some non-free firmware code to be loaded in order to work (we can't provide such non-free stuff in the installe ritself) That fuzzied and added strings in sublevels 1 and 2 of the installer.
