Hello, It would be nice if we could gather some data on the Lenny release planning: * the important milestones * what worked/did not worked * best practices for having translations in a release * proposed retro-planning (for the release team or translators)
I started a Wiki Page: http://wiki.debian.org/I18n/ReleasesPlanning This could be an input for the next Release Team and for sending warnings if a planning is not realistic or if call for translations are not seen on time. I started by listing the different areas: * Debian Installer * Installation Guide * Release Notes * Release Announcement * Debconf, Package Translations, Native Packages * Website Do you see others? I gathered data from the mailing list on when call for translation or string freeze were announced.
