Hello, no need to argue, I'd say. Both parties (Rene and Martin) made mistakes, both (AFAIK) for very noble goals: Rene to provide a sane BTS *and* an unpleasant upgrade within Sid and Martin because he wanted to ensure an important package got a good translations despite the short time frame.
We, as translators, dealing with many maintainers and with many
different workflows do not always grok the inner ideas of the
maintainers while for the maintainers i18n is just one aspect which
details they are not fully understand (which is perfectly fine, I
don't grok all the various policies neither).
So, mistakes have been made, shit happens and live goes on. Lets
continue making Debian the best OS available, every one in his
discipline he knows best about.
