I really don't know what to do with this. Can anyone on debian-ia64 help me to undertstand this one ? The bug is certainly not only liblocale-gettext-perl's fault ... we need to find the simplest test case that will make perl segfault while using this module. Does "perl -MLocale::gettext -e '1'" segfault ? Does it segfault only when trying to actually use one of the gettext functions ? Can you try to look a bit further for the segfault (with an strace for example) ?
