Hi, I have a McKinley box with Debian Sid installed and working fine. But, I had no success customizing Linux kernel options and compiling it for my McKinley box. Does anyone know about required kernel options to compile Linux kernel and make it work on McKinley boxes?
Linux booting process shows the following message on my ttyS4 console and freeze: Loading.: Acpi(PNP0A03,0)/Pci(2|0)/Ata(Primary,Master) Starting: Acpi(PNP0A03,0)/Pci(2|0)/Ata(Primary,Master) Vender ID - 0x1095 Device ID - 0x 649 ReadWritePciConfigSpace: Error writing PCI register Primary base address 458 alt 466 Secondary base address 450 alt 462 ELILO Uncompressing Linux... -done Loading initrd root.bin....Done alloc.c(line 160):allocator: invalid free @ 0x0 0x0000000000061071 0x0000000000000000 CPU0 virtualize EFI 0x0000000000061074 0x0000000000000000 CPU0 virtualize PAL 0x0000000000061072 0x0000000000000000 CPU0 virtualize SAL Regards, Caren.
