I'm not sure what the problem is; xml2-config --libs --cflags apparently has null output on the build daemon, but on merulo.d.o it seems to be correct. The buildd has libxml2-dev 2.4.24-1 installed, which is the same version as is installed on merulo. So I'm stumped...
