Alastair, I believe those are documented in the EFI spec available on the developer.intel.com website. I've attached what I get from /proc/efi/vars/Lang-8be4df61-93ca-11d2-aa0d-00e098032b8c on a zx2000. I'd be happy to test any code you come up with on this box. Thanks,
