Yup, I have a patch (courtesy of Daniel Stone) and a prebuilt package (courtesy of a couple of hours of build time ...) that work for me on Debian unstable. http://people.debian.org/~willy/xfree86/ 454_ia64_relocation_types_134_and_135.diff is for X 4.3. (this is good and works and should be in the next debian release of 4.3.0, it's backported from X CVS trunk.) 454_ia64_relocation_types_79_134_and_135.diff is for X 4.2.1. (this patch works for me, but then the radeon driver tries to load int10 and that doesn't work too well.) xserver-xfree86_4.3.0-0pre1v1.1_ia64.deb is the prebuilt deb. md5sum 4007cbc8ebca765ea7d44bc2b9832fb9 If you haven't used experimental before, you need to add the following two lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list: deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ ../project/experimental main deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ ../project/experimental main then apt-get update and apt-get -t experimental upgrade. If there's any other packages you want (eg xserver-xfree86-dbg_4.3.0-0pre1v1.1_ia64.deb) just ask and I can upload them too. -- "It's not Hollywood.
