If the BIOS doesn't come up at all, then try reseating the qlogic card -- it works best in slot 2 or 3, which are the 3.3V 66MHz 64 bit slots. If the BIOS *does* display that the scsi controller sees the disc, then you have a different problem. Try booting into EFI, and see if the correct blk? device is printed when you type `map'.
