There might be a better way to do it once packages.debian.org is back up after the intrusion, but one way for sure is that you can just look at the ftp archive. eg: http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libu/libunwind/ There's nothing there right now because libunwind isn't part of Debian yet, but that's where it'll end up. Otherwise you can do "apt-cache show libunwind". Alternatively, since you're nice enough to let Matthieu know when you upload the latest version of libunwind, I' sure he'll be only too happy to return the favour and let you know when he uploads a new version to unstable. There's no notification when a package transitions from unstable to testing, so someone would have to watch for that themself. -- "Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception." -- Mark Twain
