OK, I don't know how long these things usually take, but the evolution package maintainer seems to have gone on a very long vacation. There has been practically no activity since last October, despite the fact that bug #198660 contains an (obvious) patch to fix bugs that affects all 64-bit platforms.
Can anyone on this list do something about it?
