Hallo, I need your help: I have a Dell PowerEdge 2800 that has an Intel 64 bit architecture (Xeon): I downloaded debian-31r0a-ia64-netinst.iso burned the CD (using cdrecord) but the BIOS does not recognise its as a bootable CD. I verified several times that the downloaded iso image is complete. Any ideas? The boot process is different on ia64 than on a i386 but that seems to be taken care of in the Debian image (according to the documentation ). I got Fedora Core 4 running (but that is not to my taste).
Thanks in advance, Jens -- Jens Krause <jens.krause at fh-kiel.de> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
