I'm trying to install ETCH on my HP ZX2000 I tried the ETCH beta net install but it couldn't find the CDROM and would go no farther. I tried the other "newer" ETCH net install (on the same page at debian.org) but it would not even boot. I tried installing sarge, then upgrading to ETCH but that has left the machine unusable (It boots but I can't log in -- it won't enable the keyboard) One thing I haven't tried -- install sarge, upgrade the kernel to 2.6.12 THEN try to upgrade to ETCH Will this work? Isn't there an easier way?
