Do you mean Java plugin for web browser or just "regular" Java? In the latest situation, there are several alternatives: Sun, BEA JRockit and probably opensource implementations.
regular Java ... please. I'd prefer SUN's JDK ... but haven't found a IA64 version yet :-( Philipp
