Hello, I'm trying to install debian in an Altix 450 server from SGI. The machine comes with SUSE, but I dont like it. However, the installition boot kernel fails to load, a kernel panic happens due to an irq problem, apparently. O looked on google and there have been reports of problems since 2007 with this machine and debian. Can someone help me?
