GDB problem on Debian ia64

I filed bug#691576 (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=691576) last year. 
GDB stops with sigtrap at 0 address on ia64 wheezy.
The bug is no longer reproducable on Wheezy after upgrading to the most recent kernel 3.2.35. 

Please could you confirm this?
