1. do you have rtadvd (Router Advertisement daemon) on your router?
2. does your linux box accept RAs?
        echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/accept_ra
        echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/forwarding
   (you may want to accept redirects, too)
        echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/accept_redirects
